Kalabarathi School of Dance presents Prakashya with a special guest
Kalabharathi School of Dance (Director: Sivgami Vanka) is honored to welcome legendary bharatanatyam dancer and guru, Dr. Leela Samson, to Portland this week. This is an incredible opportunity for dance lovers in our community, as Dr. Samson is the recipient of the highest presidential award for Indian dance, the Padma Shri award.
Dr. Samson will be performing with her talented troupe on August 2nd at PCC Sylvania Campus, in an event proudly sponsored by the Kalabharathi School of Dance. Dr. Samson is to dance what Pandit Ravi Shankar is to music, and this performance is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness her artistry in person.
